On the morning of Dec 2nd, 2013, Delegation from College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Arizona State University Visit the School of Science. This meeting would be the second step of pushing cooperation between the two universities since Vice President Jun Liu received Dr. Denis Fred Simon, Vice President of Arizona State University, and Dr. Lin Wei, Dean of China Affairs.
The visiting Delegation includes: KenroKusumi, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, CLAS and representing the Life Sciences ; Jingyue (Jimmy) Liu, Graduate Program Director, Nanoscience PSM (Physics); Stephanie Deitrick, School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning; Aaron Baker, Graduate Program Director, Film and Media Studies (English); Lin Wei, Director, China Liaison Services. Cooperation with the School of Science includes Biology Department and Nano Department and both parties conducted heated discussions upon undergraduate joint education and the exchange of visiting professors and scholars.
Professor Kejian Ding, Chair of of Physics Department,Mr. Lv Chao from International Cooperation and Communication Office, Mrs. Zhang Lishu from College of Life Science and Bioengineering participated the meeting.
